La Gracia Tempranillo represents the most graceful and powerful expression of Tempranillo of the vintage. Careful barrel selection from the best parcels is made after the first year of barrel maturation and then again immediately prior to blending. The 2013 vintage of La Gracia is a blend of Tempranillo sourced from a number of vineyards including the Semmler vineyard in Lyndoch (45%), the Cowham vineyard in Penrice (43%), the Kalleske vineyard in Kalimna (7%) and the Mattschoss vineyard in Greenock (5%). Powerful dark fruits, deeply coloured and fine, savoury tannins are the hallmark.

Harvest in 2013 was one of the earliest for Quattro Mano starting on February 8 with the Semmler vineyard. The remaining parcels from Penrice and Kalimna followed a week later. Fruit was hand - picked, crushed and de-stemmed separately into a small open stainless - steel fermenters. Musts were cold soaked at 12 – 15°C with daily juice pump-overs for three days until fermentation commenced. The ferment was then allowed to warm up to a maximum of 30°C with juice pump–over three times daily to extract flavour, colour and tannins. After 10 – 14 days on skins, wines were pressed, settled and racked to seasoned 500, 300 and 225 litre French oak barrels where they completed malolactic fermentation. The wines were individually racked off lees, sulfured and returned to barrel for 30 months prior to final barrel selection, blending and bottling.
